The Importance of the Image Selection Process With Me

WHY I LOVE THIS PART!

I love my clients and truly enjoy working with them through the entire process of immortalizing special times in their lives. One of the most important parts of my process is the final stage, the image selection with my clients. I think in-person meetings with clients are key to helping them understand what I, the artist, see in the images, and what my vision is for the final photo when it hangs on their wall. I have always been an analog person. The tactile experience of having the prints laid out and seeing them lined up allows clients to take in the entire shoot. Getting to hold prints and move them around allows me to see how they work together to come up with the final piece. I take pride in my work and always aim to create timeless images for each client. By meeting in-person to review these images, the client can then see what I was trying to say and gain a greater understanding of my eye, my vision, and who I saw before me. An in-person meeting is a great way to see and choose your images with your photographer. It gives you as the client, the opportunity to voice what you like and don't like, and also the opportunity to ask the expert, the photographer. At your image reveal, I will draw on the proofs areas that I want to correct or improve for the final print.

SEE YOU HOW I SEE YOU!

I think the in-person proof and image selection meeting is an important part of my process (and half of what you pay for). I believe looking at and choosing your images with the person who created them, can save you hours of frustration because if you tried to do it yourself, you might struggle to pick the best. Personal photographs are so special. Often these are the photos that we look at when times are tough, and they help us remember the beauty and love we have for each other. It is my belief that if we don't hang photos on our wall, we will forget about them and the special moments they capture. I look forward to learning your story and helping you immortalize it to enjoy for years to come. Photographs are one of the best ways we have to hold onto our memories and in the end, they are the things we want to hold onto the most.
