Seattle Pregnancy Photo client Jessica Truffant - Mother of the Month - March
Our mother of the month for March, is maternity and family photography client Jessica Trufant, wife of Marcus Trufant, former Seattle Seahawks player. Jessica is an amazing mother to now four girls.
1. Tell me a little bit about yourself, your kids, Marcus and how you met. What are your hobbies, what you do in your free time, etc.
My name is Jessica Trufant. I am 32 years old an I am pregnant with my FIFTH and FINAL child! I am married to Marcus Trufant, a former Seattle Seahawk corner back. We met about 11 years ago through a mutual friend. He had to chase me for a while, but once he caught me, he caught me for life. We have 4 beautiful daughters together. Karmyn 9, Kimora 6, Kennedi 4, and Kassidy 17 months. And we are THRILLED that we are having a baby BOY in May. Having four kids is definitely a challenge!! There isn't a dull moment in our household. Everyday is an adventure and the laughter and running around never stops. But with all that our hearts are SO full! The love we all share and spread is amazing. The bond we have together as a family is unbreakable. Now, what do I do in my free time...what free time? Ha! I spend most of my time going to cheer practice, ballet, trampoline and tumbling, mini cheer and being a room parent for both my school age kids. However, when I do get a moment to myself I love to workout, dance and just relax.

2. Tell me about why you have me take photos, and why you trusted me to take these special photos.
When I found out I was pregnant with my fourth baby I wanted to have maternity pictures taken. I wanted them elegant, reflective of myself, my love for my family and unborn baby and I wanted them to be beautiful. I did a little research and I found Jennifer Loomis. She truly captured everything I was asking for and more. Her photography is timeless and very special. My family enjoyed working with her not only taking maternity photos, but newborn photos and then family photos 8 months later. Being that I have a lot of little ones running around Jennifer was very patient and kind and gave each of them a chance to shine. Our family picture is the very first thing you see when you walk into our house and we love it!!
3. Please feel free to include anything else you like that is interesting about you or your parenting philosophy. AKA books you read, or like whatever. I am particularly interested in your philosophy on motherhood with four children because I find it inspiring and would like others to be inspired too.
To all mothers and future moms, we are all phenomenal women! When it comes to parenting I try to be involved with my kids in everything they do. I believe in creating life long memories and allowing my kids to truly be who they are. I simply help nurture their their little personalities and try to set the best example I can as a mother.
Being a mother is everything to me, a true gift and a blessing! Thank you Jennifer for capturing such an amazing time in my life!
